Until now, numerous failed attempts have been made around the world to develop a substitute worthy of natural caviar. Most products have not been commercially successful for a variety of reasons. For instance, some imitation caviar products do not have the same consistency or the same particle size or crispness as natural caviar. Moreover, most imitation caviar products are made from egg protein, an ingredient which is not acceptable to a large segment of the consumers. Furthermore, the manufacturing process is frequently mired in quality and consistency issues. Lastly, non-natural manufacturing processes are costly and therefore cannot effectively compete with natural caviar.
We at Caviar Dreams challenged ourselves to create a superior substitute that would look and taste like real sturgeon caviar and have similar health benefits. Our primary focus was on such attributes as taste, appearance, and mouth-feel. Our product had to be made out of all natural ingredients, be affordable and sustainable. After extensive efforts of food technicians and engineers, Caviar Dreams is happy to present our new line of imitation caviar.
